Over the coming weeks, if you see speed limit signs that are missing, contradicting each other or have been vandalised please let us know.

Welsh Government’s 20mph initiative is now live and Wrexham Council’s work to reveal the new 20mph signs began on Sunday, after months of work getting everything ready.

It’s now really important to make sure that everything is correct and clear to everyone throughout the county borough. So, now everything is in place, we’re asking you to help us by emailing 20mphTrafficSigns@wrexham.gov.uk if you spot something that doesn’t look right.

Cllr Hugh Jones, lead member for environment, said: “Carrying out the work to get ready for the Welsh Government’s 20mph initiative has been a months-long task, but revealing the new signage could only begin on Sunday, September 17. We are therefore asking for the public’s patience as we continue to work and to let us know via email if you spot anything that you don’t think is clear.”

You can find more information on the Welsh Government’s FAQs page and the Wrexham Council 20mph speed restrictions in Wales webpage.
