Did you know that you still have to keep your dog on a lead at all times?
This has been in effect since the onset of Covid-19 and remains in place. It will be reviewed in September but until then please keep your dog on a lead at all times.
No matter how mild your symptoms are, you should get a test for Coronavirus
Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said: “The vast majority of dog owners act responsibly and their dogs are kept on a lead at all times.
“Unfortunately there are some that are not doing this and we’re offering a polite reminder to please keep them on a lead. It’s for everyone’s safety and to prevent any risk of not social distancing if they do not come back to their owners when called.
“Please be responsible for your dog in order to prevent any incidents happening.”
