Wrexham is holding a special Ageing Well Wrexham Event on Thursday 12 February 2026, from 11.30am to 1.30pm at Tŷ Pawb.
The event is based on one simple idea – we all want to age well. No matter our stage of life, staying healthy, connected, and involved in our community is important for everyone.
Older People’s Commissioner for Wales, Rhian Bowen-Davies, who will be joining us on the day, said: “Communities that enable us to stay active, connected and informed play a crucial role in supporting our health, well-being and independence – in supporting us to age well.
“So, I’m really looking forward to visiting Wrexham to join the activities at the celebration event on 12 February to learn more about the important work being delivered to make Wrexham an age-friendly county, and the positive difference this is making to the lives of older people.
“There’ll be lots of helpful information, advice and support available, so do come along and join us on the day if you can – everyone’s welcome!”
More than 40 organisations will also be there to share friendly advice, support, and information for adults and their families.
Organisations attending include North Wales Police Cyber Crime Team, AVOW, The Rainbow Foundation, Falls Prevention and Bone Health, DASU, BAWSO, Victim Support, Citizens Advice and many more.
At the event, you can:
- Meet local groups
- Find out about support in Wrexham
- Enjoy a relaxed chat with others
Everyone is welcome, and it’s free to attend. No booking required — just pop along.
