‘Digital’ is a word that’s been used a lot in recent years. There’s been a lot of talk…and some action.

We’re looking for a digital leader…The rewardsHow to apply

But like most councils, we still have a long way to go before we can truly call ourselves a ‘digital organisation.’

And maybe that’s where you come in?

We’re looking for a digital leader…

We’re looking for someone to head-up our digital agenda.

Someone who understands where technology, consumer behaviour and business practices are heading…and who can help us leverage these things for the benefit of customers and employees.

Interested? Maybe you should apply.

STAY UP TO DATE – SIGN UP TO RECEIVE OUR TOP STORIES.

If you join us in this role, you’ll provide expert advice on digital services, develop strategies and policies for digital transformation, and drive the delivery of digital projects across the council.

You’ll provide the spark of innovation, challenge non-digital ways of working, and look for opportunities to work with other organisations.

Sure…we need someone with tip-top skills and the right experience. But most of all, we need someone with ‘vision.’

Are you a digital hero? Take a look at this job…

The rewards

Don’t believe what you read. Working in the public sector can be really rewarding…and it definitely isn’t boring.

Less funding means councils are having to get more savvy and innovative in how they deliver services…and digital transformation has a big part to play in that.

So there’s plenty of job satisfaction with this role…plenty of scope to flex your creative, technological and strategic muscles.

Plus you’ll get access to a good pension scheme, generous leave allowance, flexible working (great for balancing work and home life) and other employee benefits.

How to apply

The closing date for applications is midnight on Friday, December 13, so if you’re interested in joining ‘Team Wrexham’, go for it.
