Bestselling crime author Clare Mackintosh will come to Wrexham Library at 7pm on Thursday, October 11 to discuss her latest book Lie To Me.
Clare’s debut novel, the psychological thriller I Let You Go, was a Sunday Times Top 10 bestseller for 12 weeks, and was the fastest selling title by a new crime writer in 2015. It has since gone on to sell more than a million copies worldwide.
It was also selected for both the Richard and Judy Book Club and ITV’s Loose Women’s Loose Books club.
Clare gathered the experience needed for her novels during 12 years working in the police force, including time as an officer on CID, and as a public order commander.
She left in the police in 2011 to work as a freelance journalist and social media consultant, and now writes books full time.
Tickets cost £5 and are available at Wrexham Library, or online at the Wrexham Council website.
