Business professionals across Wrexham recently came together for an inspiring one-day event at Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse.
Hailed as a major success, this year’s Elevate Your Business in Wrexham conference saw around 200 delegates in attendance – uniting a rare mix of representatives from a broad range of business sectors, from micro enterprises and SME’s through to global giants.
The event provided an energised and dynamic space for networking, sharing ideas and celebrate success across the county borough.
The day also provided a chance to learn more about key projects that will drive economic growth in the area over the coming years, including the Flintshire and Wrexham Investment Zone, and the city’s Year of Culture 2029 bid.
Now in its second year, the conference built on the momentum of 2024, offering a bigger and bolder programme. A new addition was the “made in Wrexham” tasting and trade stall area, where attendees were able to support and enjoy a showcase of local food and drink.

Throughout the day, delegates were able to take away actionable knowledge and strategic insight from both leading industry figures and local business trailblazers. Topics ranged from leadership and customer experience to regeneration plans, and innovation in key sectors.
Councillor Nigel Williams, Wrexham Council’s Lead Member for Economy, Business and Tourism, said: “It was a fantastic event, which really highlighted just how ambitious, connected and innovative our business community is.

“Bringing local businesses together to network, share ideas and learn about opportunities is really important, and helps to create confidence, which in turn can attract further investment and interest in Wrexham.
