In October the Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) will be inspecting our social services including services for disabled children and children who are or who have been in care.

If you receive these services or are the parent or carer of a disabled child they’d like to hear about your experiences with social services or care services such as childcare.

Protect the people you love. Download the Covid-19 NHS app.

The survey is open until October 23, 2020 and you have until then to give them your feedback.

There are two surveys:

  • Survey for people who use social services (External link)
  • Survey for parents/carers of disabled children who use services (External link)

And there’s an easy read form of the Parent/carer survey:

You can also call 0300 7900 126 to receive a hard copy.

The inspection reports for these services will be published on our website.

“Social Services offer important and critical services to people across Wrexham”

Cllr Andrew Atkinson, Lead Member for Children’s Services, said: “There’s lots of users, parents and carers of these services who will have experience of using the service and we’re encouraging them all to take the time and give their feedback on this.”

Cllr Joan Lowe, Lead Member for Health and Adult Social Care, said: “Social Services offer important and critical services to people across Wrexham, young and old, and I’m pleased that they’re being encouraged to take part in this important consultation.”

Download the Covid-19 NHS app…and help keep Wrexham safe this autumn.
