As a council who is looking to become a digital organisation, the right person can help us find where change is needed, play a role in implementing those changes, and – importantly – get to showcase their talent whilst doing so.

You see, this isn’t just a case of keeping things ticking over…we have a vision to become a digital authority, and we only want people who will make things happen.

Manage programmes, projects and change!

We’re looking for a Digital Project and Change Management Officer to manage the delivery of strategic digital programmes, projects and changes across the authority.

We need an enthusiastic and driven individual to join and add to our fast-moving and forward-thinking team.

Interested? Read on…

You’ll need to show project management experience and be comfortable working on a number of high-level digital projects with a variety of stakeholders.

You’ll be working with different teams and departments, using the digital services and platforms available to us.

Experience of process mapping, redesigning processes and building web-based forms is essential.

You can find more about what we’re looking for in the full job description on our website.

The rewards

Don’t believe what you read. Working in the public sector can be really rewarding…and it definitely isn’t boring.

Less funding means councils are having to get more savvy and innovative in how they deliver services…and digital transformation has a big part to play in that.

So, there’s plenty of job satisfaction with this role…plenty of scope to flex your creative, technological and strategic muscles.

Plus, you’ll get access to a good pension scheme, generous leave allowance, flexible working (great for balancing work and home life) and other employee benefits.

How to apply

To apply you will need to visit our website, where you will also find the full job description, and contact details if you want an informal chat about the post.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday, October 4.
