Wrexham residents are being invited to learn more about exciting proposals for the city centre.

A series of public drop-in sessions are being held over the next three weeks, where people can learn about plans to regenerate the High Street – enhancing its potential for events, street markets and cafe culture, while complementing the historic listed buildings in the area.

The council is also looking to introduce green infrastructure with shrubs and trees, and new street furniture – improving the area for local people, businesses and visitors.

Councillor Nigel Williams, Wrexham Council’s Lead Member for Economy, said: “We’re really keen to share these plans with as many people as possible, so please come and see us.

“We’re here to answer your questions and listen to any concerns or ideas you might have, and your views will help inform the project as it moves forward.

“As Wales newest city, it’s important we continue to invest and enhance our city centre so it provides the best possible experience, and breathing new life into the High Street will be an important step forward.”

There are 16 drop-in sessions, and council officers will be available to talk through details, answer questions and feedback any concerns or opinions you might have.
