FOCUS Wales is pleased to announce a very special showcase on the Saturday of the festival, with a live BBC Introducing Wales broadcast show in tribute to the late, great, BBC broadcaster, Janice Long. Set to take place on 11th May at Tŷ Pawb, Wrexham, and working together with the BBC, the festival team have co-curated a special lineup of artists that Janice loved. Cara Hammond, Laura J Martin, Pixy Jones, and Kidsmoke, are all set to perform on the night, which will be presented by Janice’s colleague and dear friend, the broadcaster Adam Walton.
Also announced today is “the techno pop princess” Sam Quealy, who has been captivating audiences worldwide with her genre bending songs and wild live shows. TWST joins the bill following the release of her second album Off World, as well as Galway garage band Shark School.
