Incredible Edible are holding a series of free workshops in their Rhos and Gwersyllt Community Growing Spaces where you can learn some gardening skills, get out in the fresh air and meet new people.
There will also be a stall at each workshop that will have free plants and seeds that you can take home to plant in your own garden or plant them in the Community Growing Space.

Introduction to food growing, how to grow your own annuals and perennials – with FREE seeds to take away

How to feed the soil to feed your food plants – introduction to mulching and composting for soil health and creating soil health in the community gardens

Transplanting tips, from seed to plant and what to do as the food plants grow – with FREE plants to take away to transplant

Groundwork North Wales workshops
Groundwork North Wales are running regular weekly sessions (on Wednesdays) where they will work with volunteers to grow produce in the newly created gardens and maintain the Community Growing Spaces.
The first ones are set to take place on Wednesday, March 5 at the following locations and times:
- Rhos Community Growing Space, 10am-12pm
- Gwersyllt Community Growing Space, 1.30pm-3.30pm

Where are the Community Growing Spaces?
The Rhos Community Growing Space is situated at the former Ysgol y Wern field (enter from Penygraig off Hill Street, LL14 1LR).
The Gwersyllt Community Growing Space is in the cul-de-sac off Third Avenue, with entry via Renfrew Close, LL11 4EF.
Thanks to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF), along with the Rhos and Gwersyllt spaces, growing spaces have been completed in Cefn Mawr, Caia Park Partnership, Y Venture, Garden of Rest, Ashfield Park and at seven schools in Wrexham, all with the help our local low carbon community groups.
