Did you know that Wrexham Council provide free period products?
Using funding from Welsh Government, they are available within school and at various locations across the county borough and we would like to know how you access these products and whether improvements can be made.
There are two surveys, one for secondary school pupils and one for all residents. Both are completely confidential.
If you are in secondary school, even if you haven’t started your period, we are asking you to complete this survey so we can ensure that you are happy with the products being provided and that you can access them easily in school.
The school survey will focus on the following key areas :-
- what is the current availability of sanitary products in schools?
- what do you think about the products that are available?
- have you ever had to miss any lessons/activities because of a lack of suitable products?
If you haven’t started your periods yet, you can still complete the survey questions about current availability and what you would like to see provided in the future.
This is your opportunity to have your say on how provision in schools could be improved.
For those not in school, if you need to access period products in your community, we would like to hear what you think about where they are available and what improvements could be made to the service.
