Wrexham Council will be offering free parking in its car parks every Saturday during December.
The aim is to encourage people to visit the city centre before and during the festive season – helping to support local businesses.
Councillor Mark Pritchard, Leader of the Council, said: “Christmas is a crucial time for the retail and leisure industry, and we’re delighted to once again be able to offer free Saturday parking during December.
“Everyone knows that councils are facing big financial challenges at the moment, so I’m very pleased that we can afford to offer this incentive, as it’s so important to support local businesses by encouraging people to shop and spend leisure time in the city.
“I would encourage everyone to take advantage and come into Wrexham city centre before and during the festive season, and help support our local economy.”
