Work to resurface the Gresford roundabout will begin on Friday, June 28 and will take place overnight for two weekends.

In order to make sure the works go ahead as planned, on time and safely, the roundabout will be closed whilst the works take place between 8pm and 6am.

APPLY ONLINE FOR SCHOOL TRANSPORT IN SEPTEMBER NOW!

Businesses and residents in the area will shortly be informed by letter of the works and arrangements are in place to make sure there’s minimum disruption to them over the two weekends.

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said: “Whilst these works will cause disruption to road users on this important and busy roundabout they are necessary and I’m sure regular users will appreciate the finished results.”

“Details of closure”

Friday, June 28 close at 8pm and reopen on Monday, July 1 at 6am

Friday, July 5 close at 8pm and reopen on Monday, July 8 at 6am

There will be disruption to the Arriva No 1 bus service and we’ll bring you details of this as soon as we can.

Access to businesses within Pandy Industrial Estate and Gresford Industrial Estate will be available at all times from the B5425 Llay Road via Plas Acton Road and Bluebell Lane.

An alternative route to Wrexham Indsutrial Estate and HMP Berwyn will be signed via Junction 1 off the A483 Trunk Road.
