Voting for the name of the new arts and market facility currently being built in the former People’s Market is well underway and a clear favourite is emerging.

There’s three names to choose from:

“Cartref”, “Oriel M” or “Tŷ Pawb”

Over 150 have already voted online and you can take part here to let us know your favourite.

If you’re out and about you can vote at Cafe in the Corner in the South Arcade of the former People’s Market, Oriel Wrecsam on Chester Street, Wrexham County Borough Museum, Wrexham Library, the Tourist Information Centre, Contact Wrexham, Plas Pentwyn and Brynteg, Acton, Gwersyllt Resource Centres.

Staff will also be at the Wrexham Street Festival on 29 July and Play Day on 2 August with voting slips and boxes.

The names were picked following a workshop that included representatives from both the arts and markets in Wrexham.

Voting ends on 3 August.
