Did you know that all landlines in the UK are going digital by 2025?

If you want to find out more about how it will affect you or have any questions you need answering then please head to Tŷ Pawb on 18 April between 10am and 3pm. BT will be on hand to answer your questions about their new Digital Voice.

Although the landline isn’t going away, BT know that many of us would like to know more about this industry-wide change and why the change is necessary.

You don’t have to pre-book, just turn up.

Switching to Digital – What about customers with additional needs?

Initially, BT won’t be proactively switching over customers where they know customers have additional needs such as those:

  • with a healthcare pendant
  • who only use landlines
  • with no mobile signal
  • who have disclosed any additional needs

They will take extra time and will provide additional support to customers who are over 70 and are ready to make the switch.

For most customers, the switch to Digital Voice will be as simple as connecting their home phone handset to a router rather than the phone socket on the wall.

For more information or if you can’t make it on the day please visit www.bt.com/digitalvoice
