To celebrate the release of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine, a special Deadpool & Wolverine flower installation has been situated at Holt Roundabout in the heart of Wrexham. The Wrexham community will be able to enjoy the installation throughout Britain in Bloom from today until the beginning of September.
To mark the film’s release and the installation of the blooming Wrexham roundabout, Country Living investigated the ongoing trend for guerilla gardening. The magazine interviewed expert gardener Lucy Willcox, who reflected on the positive power of the movement and its ability to brighten up urban spaces and bring communities together.
Cllr Nigel Williams, Lead member for Economy and Regeneration at Wrexham Council said: “I’m sure the flower installation will have people and pollinators flocking to visit. It’s wonderful to have this creative floral works in the heart of Wrexham. Wrexham has strong links with Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds – who is co-owner of Wrexham AFC, making this all the more special.”
