The go ahead to consult on proposals to increase pupil numbers at Ysgol Bro Alun has just been given the thumbs up by Executive Board.
A consultation will soon begin which will ask for views on Bro Alun increasing from 210 plus 30 nursery to 315 pupils plus 45 nursery.
The increase will be subject to a successful bid to Welsh Government to support the extension of the building and facilities on site.

The plans are as a result of the continued demand for Welsh medium places within Wrexham and whilst we are meeting the current demand further growth is expected.
This also answers the call by Welsh Government to have 1 million Welsh speakers by 2050.
