If you are out of work and need some advice, Communities for Work can help you!

There are dedicated teams across the County Borough that offer one to one mentoring and advice to help you into employment, education or training.

GET INSTANT NEWS AND INFO FROM WREXHAM COUNCIL WITH MYUPDATES.

The service is available in the following areas:

  • Caia Park
  • Hightown
  • Plas Madoc
  • Cefn Mawr
  • Penycae
  • Rhos
  • Southsea
  • Brymbo
  • Gwersyllt
  • Llay

So if you want to get back into work, but need a point in the right direction why now call one of the Communities for Work Offices 01978 802418 (if you are in Caia Park or Hightown) or 01978 820520 if you are in one of the other villages listed.

Communities for Work is a dedicated team providing one to one mentoring and employment support to unemployed individuals within the Communities First arears, who have complex barriers to employment and education. These barriers can include health problems, child care, debt, housing, no or poor skills and being  caught in the “benefits trap”.

We can help people gain the skills needed to progress towards employment. Communities for work is a Welsh Government programme supported by the European Social Fund, working in partnership with Job Centre Plus.
