Are you looking for a career in the NHS, not sure where to start?

Want to change career, but don’t have all the qualifications you need?

Wrexham Communities for Work Plus along with Careers Wales and the DWP are holding an NHS recruitment event on July 7, 2025 at Wrexham Memorial Hall 10am-2pm.

More than 20 NHS departments will be there, giving you the opportunity to speak to staff at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and find out more about the roles they have available.

This is a rare opportunity to access help from staff who will be able to offer give advice on the application process.

Staff from Coleg Cambria and Wrexham University will also be there so you can explore availabel courses to help you upskill.

Cllr Nigel Williams, lead member for economy, business and tourism, said: “This event offers the perfect chance to find out more about jobs in the healthcare sector and is a rare opportunity to get support with applications and find information about how to gain new skills and qualifications.

“If you’re interested in working in the NHS, I encourage you to come down and take advantage of opportunity.”
