As work on the new Aldi Supermarket in Ruabon nears completion it’s time for the re-surfacing of the roundabout on the A539/B5605 to take place.

This work means a complete closure of the roundabout. However as traffic flows are considerably less at this location overnight it’s been agreed that these works can take place between 7pm and 6am from Monday, June 10 and are planned for 5 consecutive nights.

COULD YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE LIFE OF A CHILD IN CARE?

Obviously there will be some noise and disturbance for local residents but every effort will be made to keep this to a minimum. Those residents affected should receive a letter from the contractor informing them of the works and potential disruption.

Arriva have been informed of these works but unfortunately their evening bus services, between Wrexham and Llangollen and Wrexham Oswestry, will be affected by these works.
