The Senedd yr Ifanc Wrexham (Wrexham Youth Parliament) is asking young people to take part in a very short two-question survey to help decide which area to focus on to reduce climate change in Wrexham.
The consultation is live until September 4, and anyone with connections to Wrexham aged 11-25 years old is welcome to take part.
Senedd yr Ifanc represents young people in Wrexham, making sure their opinions are heard, especially when decisions are being made that affect them.
In order to help them do this work, Senedd yr Ifanc asked young people in Wrexham what they felt were the most important issues affecting them.1,746 young people aged 11-25 years old took part in this ballot.
Our Environment
The top issue for young people was ‘Our Environment’, which will now be Senedd yr Ifanc’s priority for the next two years.
Senedd Yr Ifanc now needs to know which area of Our Environment the young people of Wrexham would like them to work on.
Caroline Bennett, Participation Coordinator, said: “A very quick two-question consultation has been developed where young people are asked to pick between six different areas where climate change can be reduced. The consultation asks which one of the six would have the most impact in Wrexham.
“So, if you’re aged 11-25 years old and have Wrexham connections, please take the time to help us and respond to this very short survey, which is live until September 4.”
