We have taken the unusual step of updating the media on the current situation regarding the company Raw Juice who are currently the subject of an investigation by our public protection officers.
“It is the job of public protection officers to protect the health and well-being of residents and to ensure that all food and drink premises operate within the law in order to protect the public from harmful or misleading information, situations or products.
Our experienced officers operate to consistently high and professional standards and will continue to do so until this investigation is complete. The cost of the investigation so far has been grossly exaggerated and there is no basis for the figure that has been reported.
We ask that officers be allowed to do their job without harassment either online or otherwise and that once concluded the matter be reported fairly and with due regard to the facts of the matter.”
