The city centre Christmas decorations are now complete with the arrival of this year’s Christmas tree.

The 35ft Sitka Spruce has been chosen from Elveden Forest, and is currently being prepared for the lights switch-on on Saturday 16th November

For the third year running, the tree has been kindly sponsored by Chapter Court and we’d like to say a big thank you to them for ensuring Wrexham city centre has a tree that’s second to none!

Joss Prince, from the Chapter Court project, said: “The Christmas tree provides a centre piece for the city centre decorations will soon be ready to be lit up for young and old to enjoy. It’s a privilege for Chapter Court to be the sponsor once again and I look forward to a successful and enjoyable Christmas and New Year in the city centre.”

Leader of Wrexham Council, Cllr Mark Pritchard said: “I’d like to thank Chapter Court for their continued sponsorship of the city centre Christmas tree, and encourage everyone to support our businesses by shopping locally this Christmas.”

Cllr Nigel Williams, Lead Member for Economy, Business and Tourism, said, “The Christmas tree looks amazing this year and I hope you all enjoy stopping and taking it in as part of your festive shopping. On behalf of the Council and visitors to Wrexham I would like to say a huge thank you for Chapter Court’s support of our city centre.”

The tree is on Queens Square within easy distance of the shops and markets.
