This Week: Wrexham Victorian Christmas Market Returns

Wrexham’s much-loved Victorian Christmas Market is back for four magical days, running from Thursday 28th November to Sunday, 1st December. Join us for festive fun, live music and entertainment, and a brilliant variety of local stallholders and traders.

This year’s market promises something for everyone, with free workshops and activities, a packed schedule of live music and performances, and a charming selection of stalls offering festive food and drink, handmade crafts, bespoke gifts, and much more.

Opening Hours

Thursday to Saturday: 12.00PM-8.00PM

11.00AM-8.00PM (Butchers’ and General Market)

Sunday: 12.00PM-4.00PM

St Giles Church, Church St, High St, Butchers’ Market and General Market

Entertainment Schedule

Enjoy free live music and performances, and fun-filled workshops and activities at key locations:

St Giles Church

Thursday:

  • 5-7PM — Bobby-Jo Pritchard,
  • 7-8PM — Salvation Army Choir

Friday:

  • 1.30-2PM — Ysgol Bodhyfryd Choir
  • 5-6PM — Delta Ladies Choir
  • 6-7PM — The Jazz Spot

Saturday:

  • 12-1PM — Bellevue Band
  • 3-5PM — Adam Robinson Music
  • 6-8PM — Stevie Kay’s Frank Sinatra Tribute

Butchers’ Market

Thursday:

  • Victorian Carol Singers — Throughout the Day

Friday:

  • 2-6PM — Tom Carradine’s Cockney Sing-Along

Saturday:

  • Hands-on Activities with Xplore! Science Discovery Centre — Throughout the Day
  • Festive Craft Sessions — 12-4PM
  • Juggling Workshops — Throughout the Day

Sunday:

  • Hands-on Activities with Xplore! Science Discovery Centre — Throughout the Day
  • Victorian Photographer — Throughout the Day

General Market

Thursday:

  • Victorian Carol Singers — Throughout the Day

Friday:

  • 2-6PM — Tom Carradine’s Cockney Sing-Along

  • Free Face Painting — 12-3PM

Sunday:

  • Free Face Painting — 12-3PM

Family Fair on Queen’s Square

Adding to the festive fun, Queen’s Square will host a fair on Saturday and Sunday, featuring traditional rides, attractions, and games for all ages. It’s a perfect way to round off your visit to the market and keep the whole family entertained.
