We are excited to announce the first dates in our unpaid carer’s roadshow.

The roadshow aims to reach as many people as possible in Wrexham promoting the services that NEWCIS offer to unpaid carers as well as highlighting the information, support and respite options that are available.

The first dates are:

June 21, 9.30am – 12.30pm – Chirk Parish Hall
July 6, 9am – 12pm– Acton Resource Centre
July 12, 10am – 12.30pm – Rhos Library
July 7, 9.30am – 3.30pm – Plas Pentwyn, Coedpoeth

Remember, if you would like advice, help or information you can always contact NEWCIS or visit the NEWCIS website.

This week is Carers Week (June 5-11)

This week, charities, organisations and individuals are getting together to show support for the millions of unpaid carers in the UK.

In Wrexham alone (according to the latest census data), there are over 13,000 unpaid carers. We are passionate about supporting our unpaid carers and this carers week we want to encourage all people who provide unpaid care to a family member friend or neighbour to contact NEWCIS and find out about the support that is available.
