‘The Leader and Chief Executive on behalf of Wrexham Council welcomes Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to be part of the future of Wrexham AFC and Wrexham.

This included early discussions yesterday with both myself and Ian Bancroft, and it is clear there is a real commitment and enthusiasm to be part of both the development of the Football Club, Town, and the wider County’
Ian Bancroft, Chief Executive said ‘We are delighted how quickly Rob and Ryan made contact with us and this provides a great basis for working together for the benefit of the football club and Wrexham. We are all ambitious about the potential Wrexham has both to have a top flight football club, and to play its role as the major urban centre at the heart of North Wales’.
