Over the last few years, in response to the COVID pandemic, Welsh Government provided funding for direct payments to parents for children who were eligible for free school meals, in order to help with food costs during the school holidays.
We have received confirmation from Welsh Government that this will no longer continue and that the payment made for May half term 2023 was the final one.
