News just out shows that tourism figures for Wrexham are worth a staggering £115.9 million to the local economy- that an increase of over 37% since 2010.
The industry also supports more than 1600 full time jobs for local people.
Last year there were 2.57 million visits with more visitors choosing to stay overnight which is excellent news.

Cllr Terry Evans, Lead Member for the Economy and Regeneration, said:
“These are excellent figures which show that our Destination Management Plan and tourism partners are working hard to promote the area and to ensure an excellent visitor experience. With some of the most beautiful countryside in the world, two National Trust properties, a World Heritage site, excellent food and accommodation we certainly have a lot to offer.”
