We know how easy it is to get confused and miss a bin or recycling collection.

So make sure you download the new calendar and stay up to date with your collection days.

The new 2018/19 refuse and recycling collection calendars are available online for residents to download.

MISSED BIN COLLECTION? LET US KNOW.

Postal versions of the new calendar won’t be sent out – so if you want to stay aware of the dates, make sure you sign up to the digital calendar.

There are no changes to your collection day – apart from the usual shifting schedules around the Christmas season, with residents especially advised to keep an eye on changes from Tuesday, December 25, 2018 to Saturday, January 12, 2019.

Green bin garden waste collections will run once a month from December, 2018 to February, 2019, with normal fortnightly collections resuming in March. Residents who have paid for the additional garden waste collection service will receive a letter shortly regarding the changes.

All other kerbside recycling will continue to be collected weekly.

“Won’t take five minutes”

Cllr David A. Bithell, Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said: “As a growing number of Wrexham residents are now online via smartphones and tablets, we want to make sure residents are aware that they can get their waste and recycling collection calendars online.

“It’s incredibly simple to do and won’t take five minutes of your time, but can save residents from missing bin collections.”

How do I get my calendar?

To download or print your calendar, click here and type in your postcode.

Once your postcode’s typed in, just click on your property, and the system will highlight your relevant collection day and calendar – this will give you the chance to either print off or save the calendar.

Missed bin collection? Let us know quickly and easily online.
