It is with immense pride that I am writing to you to congratulate the club on their historic promotion and return to the Football League. I also wish to congratulate Wrexham AFC Women’s team for their success in going up in the Adran League. What a truly wonderful time it is to be a Wrexham fan.

I want to thank you all for the immense amount of effort you have all put in this season. It goes without saying as the images across the internet and on the news speak volumes, but I have to say how much you’ve done us all so very proud.

You brought the entire community of our city together as one, created memories that will last a lifetime for all those in attendance and given the youth of Wrexham excellent inspiration and the lesson of never giving up.

Being a season ticket holder for over four decades, I have seen many spectacles and felt a variety of emotions but the displays I have seen of late are the fondest of them all. The future truly is bright for both the men’s and women’s teams and I am looking forward to cheering you on with the rest of Wrexham.

Once again, it is a privilege to give my congratulations on behalf of Wrexham County Borough Council to you all for what you have achieved. You are the pride of Wrexham.

Yours sincerely

Cllr Brian Cameron – Mayor of Wrexham
