Wrexham v Nottingham Forest – how to avoid a parking ticket

Match day parking can be very stressful, but Ruthin Road’s park and ride is there to help.

Wrexham AFC’s next match is on Friday, January 9, when they will play Nottingham Forest – so spread the word that there’s safe, legal parking available free of charge with bus tickets available from just 50p!

Here are the details:

Wrexham AFC v Nottingham Forest | Friday, January 9, 2025 | 7.30pm

Before the match

Parking outside Wrexham Council’s offices at Ruthin Road, Wrexham LL13 7TU

Buses start running at 5.30pm

After the match

Buses will depart from 9.30pm from Mold Road, outside the Racecourse Ground.

Just £1 return for adults (50p for children)

Car park closes at 11.30pm

The park and ride aims to prevent congestion in the city centre as well as illegal and dangerous parking on match days, both of which are problems for those living near the racecourse ground and those trying to access the city centre to shop.

The park and ride aims to prevent both of these things – traffic is taken out of the city centre and your car is parked safely and conveniently (remember that parking enforcement officers are out and about on matchdays!).
