Listen up young bus commuters; you’ll definitely want to hear about this FREE card…

My Travel Pass is a scheme funded by Welsh Government that provides young people (16-21 year olds) with discounted bus fares.

To get your discount, apply for a My Travel Pass card on their website, then when it arrives show it to your bus driver and you can expect to save approximately 30% on your bus fare.

COULD YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE LIFE OF A CHILD IN CARE?

Free card!

The card is FREE, so what are you waiting for? Apply and get saving 🙂

To qualify you just need to have a permanent address in Wales or attend full-time education in Wales. And get this, you can use the card with most bus companies too.

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for Environment and Transport said: “This is a great national scheme that young people in Wrexham can take advantage of.

“We’re well aware that many young people rely on buses to get to their studies, or to their jobs, so this is something that can help save them some money on their tickets…and the card is completely free too.”

The scheme replaces the previous offer that was only available to 16-18 year olds, but now young people can save on their bus tickets up until their 22nd birthday.

Great stuff 🙂

Some exclusions do apply, but you can find more about this on their website.
