Residents are being encouraged to help shape future improvements to Wrexham’s walking, wheeling and cycling routes by taking part in the Active Travel Network Map consultation.
As well as exploring the online map and completing the feedback form, people can speak directly with council officers at two face-to-face engagement events:
Ty Pawb
Tuesday 11 August, 11am-1pm
Wrexham Library
Friday 14 August, 1pm-3pm
The events provide an opportunity to ask questions, discuss the existing network and share ideas about where improvements may be needed.
Councillor David A Bithell, Lead Member for Environment said, “The feedback we receive will help us understand how people currently travel around Wrexham and where they believe improvements could be made.
It’s important that anyone who wants their views to be formally recorded explores the map and completes the online feedback form. While we welcome the discussion taking place on social media, comments left will not be included as formal consultation responses.
I would encourage everyone with an interest in walking, wheeling or cycling in Wrexham to take part and help us develop a network that better meets the needs of our communities.”
To ensure views are formally recorded and considered as part of the consultation, please view the map and complete the online feedback form.
Please note that comments left on social media posts will not be included as formal consultation responses.
