As you’re aware, due to recent warm weather over the past weeks we have been asking residents to put their bins and recycling out to be collected at an earlier time.
To avoid any confusion, throughout August residents should present their waste receptacles for collection by 6am. Ideally, you should put them out the night before.
Collections will revert to the original 7.30am time from September.
Cllr David A Bithell, Deputy Leader and Lead Member for Environment, said: “To make things clearer for residents, we’re asking them to have their bins and recycling ready for collection at 6am during August. We thank everyone for their understanding throughout the warm weather we’ve been experiencing.”
