Ysgol Llan-y-pwll, the planned new Welsh Medium Primary School opens in Borras in September and you can apply now for admission to nursery and reception classes.

Your child will need to have their 3 or 4 birthday before September 1, 2022 and you can apply online at school admissions or e-mail  admissions@wrexham.gov.uk for further assistance.

Work in social care and be the lifeline your community needs.

For more information contact the school at: ysgol.cymraeg@wrexham.gov.uk

Ysgol Llan-y-pwll will open to expand the provision of Welsh Medium education in the county borough and will support the Welsh Government’s plans to have 1 million Welsh speakers by 2050.

It will open on the site of the current Borras Park Infant building which will be refurbished and is funded by Wrexham Council and Welsh Government under the 21st Century Schools and Colleges Programme.

The Programme aims to transform the learning experience of learners, ensuring they are taught in classrooms with the technologies and facilities needed to deliver a 21st Century curriculum.

When fully open the school will be home to 210 pupils and also have 30 nursery places.

If you’re looking for a new career and want to help people in your community, a job in social care could be the right move.
