In order to carry out maintenance works to Telford’s magnificent aqueduct it’s going to be necessary to close it for a short time.
This will happen from the 8 January to 9 February 2018. the aqueduct will be closed to pedestrians at all times and will be closed to boats Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm but will be open before and after these times during daylight hours and will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays.
The closures are to protect the public whilst the maintenance works are undertaken safely by the Canal and River Trust and we’d like to thank you for your patience whilst they take place.
