If you over 18 and provide unpaid care and/or support to a family member, partner, child, friend or neighbour who lives in Wrexham, you can apply for a Carers Direct Payment to help you as a carer.

The fund supports carers to improve their health and well-being.

APPLY ONLINE FOR SCHOOL TRANSPORT IN SEPTEMBER NOW!

A Carers Direct Payment can be used for something that clearly gives you a break, supports you in your caring role, and/or maintains or improves your own health and wellbeing.

This can include, but is not limited to:

  • ­A holiday/break ­
  • Leisure memberships
  • ­Hobby fees ­
  • Therapy sessions
  • ­Driving lessons ­
  • Computer equipment
  • ­College course fees ­
  • Domestic appliances ­
  • Decorating costs
