School children and teachers are gearing up to go back to school after the summer break this week…and one school in Wrexham is looking for a new headteacher to guide them and help shape their future.
Ysgol Bodhyfryd is the oldest Welsh medium primary school in Wrexham and the Governing Body is actively recruiting for the post of headteacher.
“Gyda’n Gilydd” (‘together’) is the school’s motto and the children have been working with the Governors on the recruitment campaign, and there’s still time to apply…the closing date is September 11.

The children have also been giving their thoughts on what they want in a new headteacher and the school has been ‘tweeting’ across the summer holidays:
Gwenno said ‘we need a head who will care for us and help us learn’.
Hedd said ‘we need a head who is full of fun and great ideas!’
And William said that he wants ‘a headteacher who likes sport and who is also good at organising trips!’
It’s a great opportunity for the right person and if this sounds like you or someone you know, please read on…
