The event is to celebrate all the Safer Street work that has been undertaken over the last few years as well as showcase all the good work that is being done by local companies, organisations and charities to support and empower women in Wrexham.

It takes place on Wednesday 8 March at Tŷ Pawb between 10am and 3pm.

If you would like to be involved to celebrate and showcase your organisation or area of work please email communitysafety@wrexham.gov.uk for further details

Cllr Beverley Parry Jones, Lead Member for Corporate Services, said, “International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that promotes the achievements of women, greater gender equality and empowerment.
