During the month of October, we encouraged local businesses to take part in a Best Dressed Window Competition on the theme…autumn.

Protect the people you love. Download the Covid-19 NHS app.

We would like to thank all the businesses that took part.

The window displays brightened up the high street, and brought some autumnal cheer to the town centre.

The winners of the Mayor’s choice award went to Gerrards on Queens Street, with store manager Michelle Powis accepting the trophy on behalf of the shop.

The people’s choice award went to Snip ‘n’ Tuck based inside the General Market.
