Can you lead our work on Active Travel? Read on for more details

We’re looking to appoint a suitably experienced Active Travel Officer to lead our work in this important area.

The post holder will be responsible for delivery of Statutory and non-Statutory duties related to Active Travel and to make an active contribution to transportation Wrexham through the improvement of the network and promotion of sustainable modes of travel.

The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of obtaining and managing the grant funding, communication, data gathering, analysis, preparation, development and consultation associated with the delivery of duties under the Active Travel Act.

The post holder will work with our colleagues and partners to bring forward active travel schemes which support the overall priorities of the Council and its partners.

The successful applicant will have experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams to design and deliver transport, environment, engineering or related projects, and be enthusiastic about improving active travel in Wrexham.
