Has your business got great ideas about how to help people with musculoskeletal and/or mental health problems stay in work?
If so, this new government fund may be useful…
On July 16, 2018, the government’s Work and Health Unit launched the Challenge Fund. This is aimed at testing new approaches that help people experiencing mental health or musculoskeletal issues stay in work.
There’s £4.2 million available, and projects are due to run from October 2018 until February 2020.
The funding is time-limited and includes support for people at risk of losing their job through sickness, and for those already off through ill health.
The great thing about this funding is that there are no pre-conceived ideas about what works or could work…so bring your ideas to the table.
Applications are welcome from employers, charities, social enterprises, local authorities, health bodies and others.
The deadline for applications is Friday, August 17 at 5pm. For more information, visit their website.
