The school break is nearly here and Tŷ Pawb has a week full of family friendly fun in store – starting this weekend!
You’ll notice many of the activities below have a certain textile/fabric theme to them.
This is to coincide with our two new exhibitions which open this weekend – Julie Cope’s Grand Tour: The Story of A Life By Grayson Perry and Uptwist Downtwist.

Saturday
Family Art Club
- 10am–12pm
- In Gallery 2
- £2 per child. Adults go free.
- An artist-led session for children and their families to explore our
galleries and develop imagination and making skills. - This session is a family drop-in, and children must be accompanied by

Monday
Indoor Teddy Bear’s Picnic
- 10am–12pm.
- £2 per child.
- Whatever the weather – bring your bear to Tŷ Pawb today!
- Enjoy story-telling, decorating your own picnic paper plate and cup
and making a felt accessory for your teddy bear. Plus, help us find our
lost Tŷ Pawb teddies! - Bring your own picnic or purchase food from any of the great eateries
on site. - In the Flexi-space

Tuesday
Paper Laundry
- 10am-12pm.
- In Gallery 2.
- Free!
- Create your own paper garments to decorate your room using shaving
foam and bubble bath! - Make a football strip, party outfit or your own original design to hang on a cardboard coat hanger.
- We’ll also have a Paper Laundry washing line – so you can display your work for all of
our visitors! - This session is a family drop-in, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Wednesday
Wrexham Fabric Banner Workshop: inspired by Grayson Perry & the Celanese factory
- 2pm-4pm.
- In Gallery 2.
- £2 per child.
- Make a fabric door sign to take home and contribute to a large collaborative banner that will go on display in Tŷ Pawb.

Gallery Explorer Pack for Families
