We’ve already had some great events for Christmas but the one coming up this weekend promises to be a real Christmas Cracker!

For the first time we are hosting a Christmas Village – complete with festive chalets for you to soak up the yuletide atmosphere whilst bagging some last minute Christmas bargains.

The event begins at 12noon on Friday until 4pm on Sunday.

There’ll be a fantastic mix of hand crafted goods and bespoke artisan produce and of course some brilliant festive entertainment in a magical Teepee. There’ll even be reindeers for your little ones to feed but they’ll only be there for a few hours every day so take a look below at the times so you are not disappointed.

NEVER MISS A BIN COLLECTION – SIGN UP FOR WEEKLY EMAIL REMINDERS.

The Teepee will be busy for the duration of the Market with entertainment every day including Gary Sausage the Children’s Entertainer, Amy grace, Luke Gallagher, Before the Storm, Bobbie Jo Pritchard, Rhythm Train and Storyteller Jacqui Blore.

“Final festive treat”

Cllr Mark Pritchard, Leader of Wrexham Council, said: “We’ve had a brilliant line up of activities for this Christmas and the Christmas Village, whilst a new venture for us, promises to be as successful as the Victorian Christmas Market, Santa’s Grotto, The Christmas Lights Switch On and all the other events that have kept us busy for the past few weeks.”

“I know lots of people are already looking forward to this final festive treat and we look forward to welcoming many new faces over the coming days. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the town centre events team for all their hard work during the past few months who have done a fantastic job in making sure everyone has had a Christmas to remember in Wrexham.”

Don’t forget! The event takes place on Llwyn Isaf and the grass will be covered for the event but you are advised to wear sensible footwear.

The event will open on Llwyn Isaf on Friday December 14 at 12 noon and will run until 4 pm on Sunday so there’ll be plenty of time to pay it a visit.

Times for the village are here:

Friday December 14 – 12 noon – 8pm
Saturday December 15 – 10am – 8pm
Sunday December 16 – 10am – 4pm

The reindeers will be there every day but only for a short time to make sure they’re not too tired for Christmas Eve!!

Times you can see the reindeer are here:

Friday, December 14 – 4pm – 8pm
Saturday, December 15 – 12noon – 4pm
Sunday, December 16 – 12 noon – 4pm

Never miss a bin collection – sign up for weekly email reminders now.
