If you use Gwersyllt Railway Station, or would do if it was safer to get to, we are asking for your help to make some changes.

We want to know what you think of proposed changes to five routes to Gwersyllt Railway Station as part of a joint consultation between Wrexham Council, Transport for Wales and consultancy firm, Atkins Realis.

The proposed changes to these routes will make them safer for pedestrians and cyclists and are part of Wrexham Council’s, Welsh Government-approved, Active Travel Network Maps project.

How do I take part in the Gwersyllt Railway Station access consultation?

The consultation is online and you have until October 13 to give us your ideas.

To find out more, and to submit your thoughts, go to the Have your say today Gwersyllt Active Travel improvements page.

Cllr David A Bithell, Deputy Leader with responsibility for strategic transport, said, “Improving access to public transport for the people of Wales and the borders is essential if we want to encourage active travel.

“Please take the time to fill in the consultation so we can take on board everyone’s views on how improved access at this station can be improved.”
