The proposals look to increase capacity from the school up from the current 210 with 30 pupils in nursery, to 315 pupils and a 45 pupil nursery.
As well as reducing infant class sizes at Barker’s Lane CP, it would also help to relieve the pressure on a spaces at a number of our town-centre based English-medium primary schools.
The consultation will run from October 11 until December 12 – and we’ll have more details in place on how to respond and put your views forward once the consultation officially starts.
