We’ve got some good news.
Today, our Executive Board approved plans to consult on increasing places at Barker’s Lane CP School.
The proposals look to increase capacity from the school up from the current 210 with 30 pupils in nursery, to 315 pupils and a 45 pupil nursery.
As well as reducing infant class sizes at Barker’s Lane CP, it would also help to relieve the pressure on a spaces at a number of our town-centre based English-medium primary schools.
The consultation will run from October 11 until December 12 – and we’ll have more details in place on how to respond and put your views forward once the consultation officially starts.APPLY FOR A PUPIL DEVELOPMENT GRANT
