Do you have strong management and leadership skills with excellent communication and team working skills, a good understanding and knowledge of Child centred service delivery planning, and proven experience of working with vulnerable Children?  If so, we would like to hear from you.

We have a new small Children’s home opening in Wrexham and are looking for an experienced Manager who is passionate about delivering high quality Child centred care and support to manage this.

The role will involve the setting up, registration with CIW and being the Registered Manager of a specialist home supporting Children with Disabilities. The post holder will be responsible for the day to day operational management and development of the service, promoting positive outcomes for individuals.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing change, delivering continuous service improvement, and positive culture development, as well as a sound understanding of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016, and the relevant Statutory Guidance, the Childrens Act 1989, and the Social Services and Well-being Act (Wales) 2014 legislation.

The post holder will need to be qualified and registered as the nominated ‘Registered Manager’ with Social Care Wales and maintain the registration on a mandatory basis as a Registered Manager Children’s Residential Service.
