Did you know that there is now a Flintshire and Wrexham Local Access Forum?
The two areas have recently joined forces and their aim is to improve public access to land in the areas by offering advice to both Wrexham and Flintshire councils. Their advice could include how to improve access to the countryside to ensure as many people as possible can take advantage of what the areas have to offer. This could include improvements to the public rights of way and the right to cross open country and registered common land.

They are now keen to hear from anyone who has experience in the management of the countryside such as farmers or people who regularly use the countryside such as walker, horseriders, bikers or offroaders who would like to join them in this important work.
You will need to attend four or five meetings a year and you will be entitled to claim reasonable travel expenses.
